However, if you cause damage to the ribs of the mouth on the HP 88 or 940 cartridges it will likely cause failure to your fill process. The picture directly below shows the ribs as they should be.

The image below shows damaged ribs on the mouth of an HP 88 Tank caused by the multi-tool. This is possibly because the ball was scraped out around the opening of the mouth (lower left image)
